This project consisted of a single storey extension, as well as a first floor extension to dramatically improve the circulation of this cottage, bringing it into the 21st century and flooding the key areas of the cottage with natural light.

The first floor extension was construction using timber frame; a lightweight and fast method of construction.

The removal of a number of internal walls at ground floor, and the introduction of the lean-to extension which benefits from 2 large roof lights, transformed the way this cottage is used.

Alterations to the first floor meant that 3 bedrooms and a shower room was possible. A brilliant transformation.
