Having purchased a small bungalow, I knew that I needed a couple of extensions to gain storage space and make the property work for me, but keeping the ‘look’ of the property and not wanting obvious ‘add ons’. We onboarded Vertex to support the design of a ground floor extension to incorporate a new kitchen and dining area – this was the first time we had embarked on such a process. Architectural support was initially seen as necessary/essential, but an additional and unwelcomed cost to the overall project. However, it is now very apparent that a good architect can bring so much more than that. We had an initial plan of what we aimed to achieve, but this was very different to the far more desirable outcome provided designed and facilitated by Jordan. From the first meeting Jordan understood our ‘vision’ and specific requirements and approached our draft from a different perspective. The final drawings provided far more space and created an open plan kitchen, dining, and living.
