Meet the Team - Beth
Beth has been part of the Vertex team for nearly 3 years now as one of our technicians. Beth assists with proposals and creates CGI imagery where a 3D concept of the designs can be shown to our clients. This allows our clients to visualise their property design in the early stages of the project and can help to show them the different design choices such as bricks and boarding colours.
We asked Beth what she enjoys most about working at Vertex and she told us; “I like that we have the opportunity to work on a range of projects from residential to commercial. Mixing it up always keeps things interesting!”
Project: Flint House
Flint House is a project to be proud of. An uninspiring two storey house and garage was demolished to make way for this beautiful four-bedroom property, using Norfolk’s finest materials such as flint, brick, and slate.
The client wanted to create a house which felt warm and homely, which can sometimes be difficult to achieve in a new property. We also had to battle against an unnatural site shape, which had the main garden area tucked round one corner. The dwelling and garage had to be sympathetic to the setting of the village and respect its surroundings.
Benefitting from 2.9m tall ceilings at ground floor, and 2.75m tall ceilings at first floor, the house feels incredibly spacious. The 40 feet long kitchen, dining and living area captures the main section of the garden, whilst the snug provides the more tranquil setting a house of this stature needs. Four spacious bedrooms to first floor complete what is a fantastic family home. The craftsmanship of the flint and brickwork is exceptional, and the quality of the internal finishes and furniture makes this house feel like it’s been here for years gone by. The positioning of the garage, front walls and gates makes this home feel private and exclusive.
