Vertex Architecture has now opened a second Norfolk office in Norwich, the county capital, at St George’s Works, 51 Colegate. Located in the city’s historic shoe quarter near to the universities and Lanes district, St George’s Works is a fantastic industrial, heritage building which now offers a stylish contemporary workspace and Vertex sits alongside a wide range of creative businesses which are also based here.
The shoe quarter has a fantastic history which dates back to Medieval times when one-man craftsmen worked in the streets within the ward, to the peak of activity during the mid-20th century when the industry employed thousands of people who manufactured the latest fashions which were sold around the UK,
Vertex will have a dedicated Norwich staff at St George’s Works to meet clients to discuss projects, and bring in other property and construction professionals for meetings, as required. We are hugely excited to have established a Norwich office which will allow us to bring our own style of relaxed, ‘easy to work with’ architectural design and services to a wider range of clients across Norfolk.
